In-Kind Donations
Kind donations of food and other essential items are vital to RER’s success in helping to meet needs in our community!
RER staff and volunteers are prepared to receive in-kind donations at the RER office:
350 Tall Oaks Drive SE Conyers, 30013
General Donations are received: Tuesday and Thursday between 1:00 and 3:00 PM (Donations may be tax deductible, so please be sure to obtain a donation receipt when you drop off your items)
Court -Ordered Community Service Donations are received:
– Monday: 9 am – 3 pm
– Tuesday: 1 pm – 3pm
– Wednesday: 9 am – 3 pm
– Thursday: 9-11 am
Food Donations
- RER does NOT accept items that are past their expiration dates.
- RER is a non-profit organization that has committed itself to standards that parallel those of grocery stores and therefore does not distribute expired food products.
- RER accepts food in good condition that is free of dents and spoilage.
- RER tries to bring the full grocery store experience to our clients to provide more than food. We accept items such as toiletries, cleaning products, dishwashing liquid, and laundry soap.
- MOST NEEDED ITEMS – CEREAL, BEEF STEW, CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS, JELLY, CHILI, CRACKERS, OATMEAL, MAC & CHEESE, CANNED SWEET PEAS, GRITS, CANNED CHICKEN, CANNED TOMATOES, SPAGHETTI SAUCE, AND SPAGHETTI NOODLES
